Keeping Children Active & Productive:
These days, keeping our children safe and busy in a constructive manner is a challenge, especially once they reach their teens, when daycare options dwindle and being “baby-sat” becomes offensive to the older child. We must, instead, create opportunities where they can learn and grow and be challenged in a positive environment, while having fun.
What We Offer:
At Chicago Wushu we offer a part-time summer program that gives focus to pre-teens and teens' days in a setting where they can enjoy physical activity as well as mental stimulation. Learning Wushu & Kung Fu will encourage discipline and respectfulness and help instill an overall positive attitude, as well as provide increased levels of fitness and a useful skill.
The Path To Success:
The immersion in the martial arts also provides an opportunity for teens to experience positive role models, and make new friends with other involved, productive peers. The part time nature of the program gives some structure to their days and helps eliminate destructive boredom, while still allowing time for them to relax and to pursue other personal summer activities. This program is not daycare, but focused guidance and constructive activity for the older child
The Program Conclusion:
At the end of the 8 week session, the summer school program will conclude with a closing ceremony. The ceremony will consist of a performance and skill demonstration with a final presentation of certificate of completion. Parents and relatives are encouraged to come and see the event. The ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. on saturday August 16th at the school. Parents are requested to RSVP.

When: Monday thru Friday (11 a.m to 1 p.m.)
Cost: Full 8 Week session summer
Discounts Available:
- Children currently attending Chicago Wushu receive a 10% discount
- Summer program students with siblings that register and attend together receive a 5% discount on the 2nd child - (Excludes currently attending students)
- Registered summer program students that refer a friend that signs up for the program receive a 5% discount
